Minor International Selects eCornell for Online Leadership Development Program

Ithaca, N.Y. — June 6

eCornell and Minor International, a hospitality and leisure firm in the Asia Pacific Region, have recently partnered to deliver an online leadership development program for general managers working within the firm's Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas brand.

The online program was developed to meet specific objectives and business needs at Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas. Minor's primary goal is to cultivate higher-level leadership and business strategy acumen among its general managers.

Select GMs will begin by taking eCornell's “Strategic Hospitality I: Formulating Strategy” course, followed by individualized curricula, depending on their specific training needs. eCornell offers a variety of hospitality courses for Minor GMs in several areas: leadership, strategic management, foodservice management, hospitality management and finance.

All courses offered to GMs at Minor are authored by faculty at Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration.

eCornell's approach to e-learning aims to combine the most effective elements of an Ivy League classroom with the flexibility of an online learning environment. eCornell courses — self-paced and 100 percent online — are "instructor-facilitated" to help guide a cohort of 20 to 30 participants through real-world exercises with practical on-the-job application.
