Amy Erickson leads global and U.S.-based competency management and organizational development implementations in a variety of leadership and consulting roles in the financial, manufacturing, technology, utility, insurance and construction industries. Prior to joining Kenexa, she led ITG Competency Group’s consulting organization and held leadership positions in corporate information technology and organizational development divisions. She has also presented at industry conferences and development associations such as ASTD and The Conference Board.

Erickson works with clients who wish to radically improve their workforce practices to support critical talent management initiatives such as career planning, succession planning and workforce risk management. She also works with clients who are restructuring their enterprises to better meet the challenges of the future.

With an emphasis on rapid deployment, Erickson assists in aligning workforce talents with strategic business directions by working with the client to identify its unique business objectives and challenges and leveraging existing competency content as appropriate. Functional as well as leadership, business and individual competencies are all drawn upon to create high-level executive and role-specific, enterprise-wide models which enable critical workforce initiatives.

Erickson has more than 15 years of experience in competency management. She holds a master’s of business education from New York University.
